Stripe Payment Processing allows you to connect your Stripe account and take payments for appointments via SMS links.

Connect Your Stripe Account

The first step to taking payments through the platform is to connect your Stripe account. Simply head to Settings > Account Setup > Enable Payments. Once the Enable Payments box is checked, you can login to Stripe right away.

Once logged in, you can select your currency and whether you’d like reminders sent after 24 hours for incomplete payments.

Set Appointment Types and Prices

You can then select the appointment types you want to take payment for and their respective prices in your currency. Head to Clinic Setup > Appointment Types where you can select the appointment types to take payment for by enabling the Take Payment Online switch under each appointment. When the switch is enabled, the Payment amount box will appear. Here you can enter the appointment price. This can be either a the full amount or a deposit amount.

When payments are enabled for an appointment type, a note will be added to the appointment in question in your practice management system once it has been paid for by the patient.
