If you use Nookal as your Practice Management System, then this simple guide will get you connected with our platform in no time!

Generate an API Key in Nookal
Firstly, you’ll need to generate an API Key in your Nookal dashboard. In order to do this, head to Setup > Connections > API Keys. In the bottom right hand corner, click on Generate API Key. You can then select all the locations and permissions you want the BookedSolid platform to have access to and click save.

Once your API Key has been successfully generated, make sure to flick the status switch on and copy the key to your clipboard for later.
Turn On Online Bookings
If you haven’t already, then you’ll need to ensure that your location and practitioners are enabled for online bookings within Nookal.
For practitioners, head to Setup > Users > Staff. You’ll need to activate each practitioner for Online Bookings by clicking on them individually and then:
Account > Status and check the Active box.
Integrations > Enable and check the Enable Integrations box.
Save Changes.

For locations, head to Setup > Extensions > Inactive. From here you can see locations (which are not activated for Online Bookings). You’ll need to activate each location for Online Bookings by clicking on them individually and then:
Policies > Setups > Status and check the Active box.
Available Types > Services and check the relevant boxes for the appointments you want each practitioner to be available for.
Save Changes.

Create account on BookedSolid
Now that your Nookal account is ready, you can head over to the BookedSolid Signup Page where you can begin entering your details. Make sure to choose Nookal when you reach the dropdown titled Which Software Do You Use?.

Onboard and Provision a Number
Once you enter the platform for the first time, you’ll be prompted to follow an onboarding flow. This flow will first require you to enter the API Key you created earlier in Nookal, as well as filling out a short form in order to provision a phone number. You will also be able to select any other channels you wish to activate.
